I bought these for my kids. They all use them independently with just a little reminder. It has made a positive impact on their dental health.These tablets can be messy, but it is a stain after all. We have found that running water and spitting carefully into the running water prevents most of the mess. My kids are 6, 8, and 10, and they accomplish this with no problem, now that we know how to handle it.

These were recommended by my dentist to have my kids work on their plaque. Of course, I wanted to try it too. It has an OK taste as you chew up the tablet and swish it around in your mouth you are left with a pinkish-purple residue where you need to brush more. It’s a great reminder for those who are learning to brush or those that need a, who need a, refresh in their brushing skills (my teens) who got lazy.

We’ve had trouble with our daughter brushing regularly (she’s 6 soon to be 7 and we have to remind her every evening, she’ll try anything to get out of brushing) and I’d tell her about plaque- she didn’t believe me. Skip to moment I had her use this and she’s like yeah ok whatever when I tell her what to expect. As soon as she opens her mouth after trying the tablet she freaks out that her teeth are purple all over and I exclaim, “oh there’s the plaque I’ve been telling you about” and she finally got the message. She uses these every night without fail and the dentist has been much happier and our dental bills have gone down a bunch we’ve been using these for a while now and will continue until our daughter is a trooper at remembering to brush and can brush well enough on her own. My kids weren’t brushing great. So I got these now when they say they brushed their teeth good then I have them chew one up and then spit so they can see if they didn’t then there will be purple everywhere they missed.
